Bonnie Smith

Bonnie Smith started painting as a young child. She sold her first painting nearly forty years ago. Her prize winning work has been exhibited by Design Consortium in Ohio, White Dove Gallery in Washington; Treasures Gallery, Black Bear Gallery in California, and Maude Kerns in Eugene, among others. She has collected fifty or more ribbons and awards over the years. Her works are in collections in California, Washington D. C. and Washington State. Bonnie had several "one-person" shows at Emerald Art Gallery and a two person show at Burien Art Gallery
in Washington with her artist sister.

The artist works in oil, pastel, watercolor, digital art and even photography occasionally. She has taken classes and workshops with Gene Gill, Jane Hoffstetter, Jerry Dame, Judi Betts, Catherine Tyrrell, and many others, and continues to learn as time goes on.

Each new painting is a challenge and new adventure with ever-varying subjects from portraits to wildlife to scenery, children and animals. In addition to original paintings, Giclee or digital prints of many of Bonnie's paintings are available at a reasonable price, and commissions are welcomed.
